3D Product Animation London
I create 3D product animation for launches, campaigns and social content. Each film is built in Blender around the detail that matters, whether that is a stone setting, a watch movement or the finish on a bottle.
Controlled sculptural light, close material work and restrained camera movement keep the product readable and physically present.
Based in London, working with brands and agencies worldwide.
Selected 3D product animations
A selection of jewellery, watch and fragrance films. Each one uses movement to reveal the product’s form, finish or inner mechanism.
Eternal Flame ring animation
A slow reveal built around the profile of the setting and the way light travels across the metal and stone.
Engagement ring 3D visualisation
A measured turntable that keeps the stone, setting and polished metal clear from every angle.
Tissot watch animation
Macro movement and controlled highlights reveal the case, dial and mechanism without rushing the product.
How a 3D product animation project works
A clear five-stage process from brief to final delivery.
01
Brief and objectives
We define the product, audience, launch timing and required formats. CAD files, drawings, reference photography or a physical sample can form the starting point.
02
Concept and storyboard
I develop the visual route, shot sequence and pacing. You approve the direction before full production begins.
03
3D build and look development
I prepare an existing model or build the product, then refine the materials, lighting and surrounding scene.
04
Animation and review
I animate the camera, product and scene, then share review versions at the agreed stages.
05
Final delivery
You receive the approved film and any agreed stills in the required aspect ratios and resolutions.
Movement should reveal the product
Every camera move needs a reason. A slow orbit can trace the profile of a ring. A macro pass can show the finish on a watch case. An exploded view can make a hidden mechanism understandable.
I bring photographic composition into the 3D scene, using controlled sculptural light and close material work. Metal should have weight, glass should hold reflections properly, and the product should stay precise even when the environment becomes more atmospheric.
The approved scene can also produce CGI product photography for campaign stills, product pages and launch material.
What one 3D build can produce
Once the product and scene are approved, the same build can produce a hero film, shorter social edits, retail loops and campaign stills. Later colourways, packaging changes and new angles can be created without starting again.
For perfume launches and beauty campaigns, see my fragrance CGI and 3D perfume animation work.
Launch films
Product reveals and short CGI films for websites, presentations and paid campaigns.
Social edits
Vertical, square and landscape cuts for Reels, Stories, feeds and digital advertising.
Turntables and technical reveals
360-degree spins, exploded views and mechanism animation for products whose value sits inside the object.
Campaign stills and pre-launch visuals
High-resolution frames and new compositions created from an approved scene, CAD files, drawings or reference material.
3D animation for brands and agencies
I work directly with product brands and as a specialist CGI production partner for creative agencies. You work with the person building the model, lighting the scene and directing the animation.
If the campaign concept is already approved, I can take it through 3D production. If you need a visual route, I can develop the concept and storyboard with you.
Jewellery projects can also use my 3D jewellery rendering service. For perfume launches, see fragrance CGI and 3D perfume animation. For watch campaigns that need complementary stills, see watch photography in London.
Common questions
Do I need an existing 3D model?
No. I can work from CAD files, technical drawings, product photography or a physical sample. If a usable model already exists, I can prepare it for materials, lighting and animation.
Can you start before the finished product exists?
Yes. Approved CAD, drawings and packaging artwork can be enough. A physical sample helps when an exact material or finish needs close matching, but it is not always required.
How long should the finished animation be?
Most social pieces are 10 to 30 seconds. A launch film may run longer. I recommend the shortest cut that communicates the idea and gives the final product shot time to land.
Which formats can you deliver?
MP4 files for web and social, ProRes when a higher-quality master is needed, and PNG sequences for post-production. Common aspect ratios are 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.
Can the same project include still images?
Yes. Once the 3D scene is approved, I can create campaign stills, product frames and additional compositions from the same build.
Planning a product launch?
Send the product, launch timing and formats you need. I will come back with a clear scope and production plan.
